The current Elisabeth Hotel is a new take on an inn that has been around since the mid-1800s. Now as then, hospitality and the immersion in nature are central. Today’s Hotel resembles an elegant and contemporary chalet, designed by SO Architects of Bolzano for a very sophisticated client. The materials of the Hotel’s natural surroundings were integrated in its design: wood and stone. The bathrooms are furnished with countertop Corian® washbasins on stone vanity tops, thermoformed to the architects’ exclusive design. Corian® bathtubs from the Aquarius series are linear with rounded interior corners and comfortable inclined backs. The tubs were then clad in stone and completed with LED illumination at the base. For the suites, instead, Planit provided two different models of countertop Corian® washbasins: Concave, with rounded forms and teardrop shaped ceiling mounted fittings; and, Libra, a custom-made rectangular washbasin with 90° angles and wall-mounted fittings.
