Hygienic and easy to clean Corian® is universally recognised as the most suitable material for creating surfaces and finishes in hospital and healthcare environments. To complete its refurbishment and renovation, the San Candido hospital selected our countertops in Corian® Cameo White to accompany the steel furniture supplied by Ladurner Hospitalia, and panels in the same material for the walls in patient rooms. Sink countertops in examination rooms all feature a high backsplash attached with a seamless cove moulding to ensure the highest levels of hygiene. The walls in patient rooms are protected by technical panels made in Corian® Cameo White.
Corian® is certified by Germany’s LGA certification body for its hygienic properties (in particular its resistance mildew and bacteria growth according to the European DIN EN ISO 846 regulation) and by the American GreenGuard® environmental certification board as a material with low emissions of volatile organic compounds.
