The Velvet Cocktail Bar was created in the heart of Verona as part of a project to restore and improve a historic building that had been abandoned for years.
The building, which now houses Velvet, dates back to the 15th century and was brought back to life through careful renovation.
The architecture firm Merlini Design gave the old materials a fresh and modern look.
At the center of the space is a large, backlit bar made of Corian® Venaro White, with soft, welcoming shapes—designed to be both a sculptural and functional element.
Thanks to its many years of experience in thermoforming Corian®, PLANIT was able to impressively realize the architect’s vision.
Velvet is not just a cocktail bar, but a place where design and hospitality come together to give new life to a historic building.
